The complete “ideal” treatment*
Post-transplant treatment involves the use of the kit products in synergy with each other or, if differently prescribed by your surgeon, individually or combined according to your needs.
The "ideal" complete treatment includes the following application / intake scheme:
* Attention: the post-operative period is very delicate and the course is extremely subjective. Refer to your surgeon in charge for a suitable and more correct use of the kit products.
(we have selected/developed this product because..)
Until now, there was no complete single-brand kit on the market that would address all the delicate problems related to hair transplantation’s post-surgery.
The products of the Kmax Post-Surgery Kit, complementary and synergistic with each other, therefore represent the answer to the need of surgeons specialized in hair transplants and their patients, to take care in a complete and optimal way of the newly transplanted follicular units, the area of sampling (both FUE and Strip) and the scalp in general.
Constantly growing hair transplant
According to research conducted by the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery), the number of people who undergo hair transplantation is constantly growing. In Italy, in 2019 there were 735,312 people who underwent a hair treatment including transplantation, marking a growth of 16% compared to the previous year, while a total of 2,083,522 people in the world underwent a treatment hair loss or a transplant.
Beware of the sun and dust
In the immediate period following the hair transplant, there are two precautions to be observed: exposure to the sun and dust. Specifically, the sun determines the tanning of the scalp like any other part of the body; so, if this happens during the healing phase of the incisions or their moderate redness in the following two months, the latter can trap pigment inside them, remaining slightly darker after tanning.
How long to evaluate the results of a transplant?
To evaluate the results of a hair transplant, you must not be in a hurry. Hair, in fact, are asynchronous organs, that is, they have out-of-phase growth cycles, thus preventing humans from having moults like some animals. Thus, even in the patient who has just had a hair transplant, growth does not start neatly at the stroke of ten weeks. This covers a more or less long period between 10 and 16 weeks. Furthermore, before the sixth month, judgments on the effectiveness of the transplant should be postponed and anxiety contained with confidence. In fact, the results further improve both in density and quality up to a year after the intervention.
